Cartier, Paris-Londres, No. 1858, circa 1910. Very fine silver, enamel and white amethyst, minute-repeating, eight-day carriage clock in original green leather fitted travelling box.
C. Rectangular, of grey translucent enamel over engine-turning in a sun-burst pattern with white champleve enamel lined borders. Four silver amethyst set bail feet and amethyst repeating button at the top. D. White enamel with Breguet numerals. Diamond set arrow hands. M. Rectangular gilt brass, " Nocturne" with going barrel, straight line lever escapement, cut bimetallic balance, Breguet balance spring. Repeating on gongs. Signed on the dial and the base. In very good condition. Dim. 72 x 48 x 38 mm.
