Cartier Paris, "Tonneau", No. 5330. Made circa 1915. Very fine, rare, and elegant, early tonneau-shaped, curved, Art Deco, platinum, yellow gold and diamond wristwatch with a diamond-set platinum and gold clasp.

Two-body, solid, polished and brushed, case back with screws on the band, bezel set with single-cut diamonds, hinged lugs set with 6 large diamonds and pavé-set diamond bars, rose-cut diamond-set winding-crown. D. Off-white with painted radial Roman numerals. Blued steel "Breguet" hands. M. Cal. 8''', rhodium-plated, 18 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance with 8 adjustments, blued steel flat balance spring. Dial and movement signed, case numbered. Dim. 24 x 44 mm. Thickness 8 mm.
