?Montre Couteau? Cartier, Paris, case No. 3229. Made circa 1910. Very fine and elegant, thin, Belle Epoque, 18K yellow gold and enamel keyless dress pocket watch with diamond-set ?trefoil? bow.
C. Three-body, knife-edge band, back cover with alternating gold and blue translucent stripes, white enamel dot border resembling split pearls, center with diamond-set rosette framed en suite. D. Silver, sunburst engine-turned with black Arabic numerals, outer minute track. Blued steel ?Breguet? hands. M. 10???, gilt brass, bar caliber, 17 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance, blued steel flat balance spring, index regulator. Dial and movement signed, case numbered. Diam. 29.3 mm. Thickness 7 mm.
