Art Deco Diamonds & Onyx "Nain Jaune" Cartier, case No. 6628/9348. Made circa 1915. Very fine and very rare, "Art Deco", square, platinum, 18K yellow gold, black onyx and rose-cut diamond-set lady's wristwatch with a matching platinum and yellow gold buckle set with black onyx and rose-cut diamonds.
C. Two-body, square, solid, polished, the bezel and outer border set with large rose-cut diamonds, surrounding a black onyx triangle in each corner, wire lugs, rose-cut diamond-set winding-crown. D. Matte silver with painted Arabic numerals, inner minute track. Blued steel "Breguet" hands. M. Cal. 9???, rhodium-plated, "fausses côtes " decoration, 18 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance, blued steel Breguet balance spring, index regulator.
