Cartier, Paris, N° 4315-9153, circa 1930. Very fine 18k gold, enamel and onyx 8 day going miniature carriage clock "a volets".

Gold rectangular case, set on a plate of black onyx, decorated overall with black champleve enamelled Art-Deco ornaments, the shutters disclosing the dial, enamel-led inside with large black Roman numerals. Mat silver engine turned dial with indexes, blued steel hands, large black Roman numerals painted on the dial plate above and below the dial. Rectangular Nickel movement by European watch and clock C°, 15 jewels, straight line le-ver escapement, cut bimetallic balance adjusted in two positions, Breguet balance spring. Signed Cartier on the dial, E.W.C. C° on the movement. In very good condition. Dim. 4,8 x 3,2 x 2,2 cm.
