Art Deco Platinum & Diamond "Tortue" Cartier, Paris, No. 11140/15248, the movement by European Watch & Clock Co., Inc. Made circa 1915. Very fine and very rare, Art Deco, tonneau-shaped, platinum, 18K yellow gold and rose-cut diamond-set lady's wristwatch with an 18K white gold fine mesh bracelet.

Matte silver with painted radial Roman numerals, outer minute track. Blued steel Breguet hands. M. Cal. 9???, rhodium-plated, fausses-côtes decoration, 19 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance with 8 adjustments, blued steel Breguet balance spring, index regulator. Dial signed, case numbered by Cartier, the movement signed E.W. & C. Co., Inc. Dim. 23 x 29 mm. Thickness 6 mm.
