Twin Strap Cartier, London, No. 8538. The case with London hallmarks for 1970-1971. Very fine and extremely unusual, large, rectangular, 18K yellow gold wristwatch with twin straps and two 18K yellow gold buckles with London hallmarks for 1969-1970.

C. Two-body, polished and brushed, curved corners, back secured by 4 screws in the band, two horizontal slots for the straps, cabochon sapphire-set winding crown. D. Cream, painted with tapered baton hour indexes and large Roman XII and VI. Blued steel tapered baton hands. M. Cal. 845, 5??, by LeCoultre Co., rhodium plated, 17 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, monometallic balance, self-compensating flat balance spring, shock absorber, micrometer regulator. Dial signed Cartier, London, case and buckles with JC punch mark, movement signed LeCoultre Co. Dim. 41 x 14 mm. Thickness 6.5 mm.
