Platinum Ring Watch Cartier, France, No. 75178 / 75178, the movement by European Watch Co. Made in the 1940s. Extremely fine and possibly unique, heavy platinum ring watch. Accompanied by a Cartier box.

C. Two-body, brushed and polished, square inclined bezel, slot in the integral shank for the edge of the rear winding wheel to facilitate winding whilst wearing, back with two screws. D. White painted with radial Roman numerals, inner minute track. Blued steel hands. M. 6 ½???, by European Watch Co., No. 62409, rhodium plated, 16 jewels, lateral lever escapement, flat blued steel balance spring, index regulator. Dial signed Cartier, France, case numbered, back of winding wheel numbered. Dim. 28 x 16 x 16 mm.

This ring watch is probably unique in platinum and is extremely stylish. The numbered winding wheel projects through the shank of the ring so that it can be wound without having to remove it from the finger.
