Montre de Bureau Cartier, No. 95227/96227. Made circa 1910. Extremely fine and equally rare, silver, enamel, gold, ivory, platinumand rose-cut diamond-set, 8-day going square desk clock with triple date calendar and moon phases.

Square, silver overlaid with translucent lilac guilloche enamel over an engine-turned ground, white line borders, the front set with four rose-cut diamond-set platinum flowerhead mounts, engraved gold bezel, the back with ivory panel with 8 screws, gilt brass drum case housing the movement with snap-on cover, hinged metal strut. D. Silver, engine-turned, painted black radial Roman numerals, outer minute track, three subsidiary dials for the date, days of the week and the months, aperture for the moon phases with blue enameled moon disc. Rose-cut diamond-set platinum hands with arrow tips. M. 58 mm., frosted, going barrel, 15 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance, blued steel Breguet balance spring with terminal curve, index regulator. Dial signed, movement and case numbered. Dim. 103 cm square.
