Miniature Desk Clock Cartier, Paris, case No. 654643. Made in the 1980s. Very fine and rare, miniature, 18K yellow gold, black onyx, coral, diamond and emerald-set Art Deco-style quartz clock.

C. Circular, coral panels intersected by gold ribs, applied yellow gold Roman quarterhour numerals, the band set with a line of 57 square cabochon emeralds within a gold channel, bezel set with 36 square-cut diamonds and a square cabochon emerald at each quarter, round gold base set with 21 round diamonds, rectangular black onyx base raised on a gold plinth with gold block feet, back with four screws. D. Mother of pearl. Yellow gold triangle and baton hands. M. With quartz standardization. Dial and case signed. Dim. 61 x 48 x 35 mm.
