Twin Strap Cartier, London, No. 8538. The case with London hallmarks for 1970-1971. Very fine and extremely unusual, large, rectangular, 18K yellow gold wristwatch with twin straps and two 18K yellow gold buckles with London hallmarks for 1969-1970.
C. Two-body, polished and brushed, curved corners, back secured by 4 screws in the band, two horizontal slots for the straps, cabochon sapphire-set winding crown. D. Cream, painted with tapered baton hour indexes and large Roman XII and VI. Blued steel tapered baton hands. M. Cal. 845, 5??, by LeCoultre Co., rhodium-plated, 17 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, monometallic balance, self-compensating flat balance spring, shock absorber, micrometer regulator. Dial signed Cartier, London, case and buckles with JC punch mark, movement signed LeCoultre Co. Dim. 41 x 14 mm. Thickness 6.5 mm.
