Produced in 1998, in a limited edition of 50 examples to commemorate the 150th anniversary of the Swiss Confederation.Fine and rare, rectangular, curved, center-seconds, self-winding, water-resistant, 18K yellow gold gentleman's wristwatch with date, 42 hours autonomy.
C. two-body, solid, polished and brushed, dedicated case back with screws, sapphire-set octagonal winding-crown, sapphire crystal. D. matte silver with painted radial Roman numerals, signed "Cartier" on one of the VII stroke, at the center, a medallion engraved with Swiss crosses, aperture for the date. "Epée" blued steel hands. M. Cal. 200, rhodium-plated, "fausses-côtes" decoration, 20 jewels, straight line lever escapement, monometallic balance, self-compensating flat balance-spring.Engraved on the back: "Cartier - 150 years Swiss Confederation - N° 23/50 - 1998.
