Notes

This type of watch was initially destined as a purse watch. A few of them (the 'Bébé Guillotine') were adapted as wristwatches by Cartier, for the English Market. Approximately 50 pieces of this kind were modified by Cartier Paris and were sent to Cartier London (import and date English hallmark), and were sold there in the 1930s. Cartier Paris also produced some under the denomination "Bracelet-Montre Bébé Guillotine".
