Cartier Mirrored Desk Clock Cartier, Paris. No. 1354-12. Made in the 1920s Fine, unusual and attractive art deco mirrored and black enamel 8-day desk clock with mother-of-pearl dial.

C. Rectangular black enameled base mounted by a bronze mirror, rectangular black enamel case with bronze mirror front, coral highlights to the corners. Winding and setting to the reverse. D. Circular, mother-of-pearl, applied black Roman numerals, black octagonal center. Steel and black enamel deco style hands. M. European Watch & Clock Co., rhodium-plated, 15 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, cut and compensated bi-metallic balance adjusted to temperature and one position, blued steel overcoil balance spring, index regulator. Dial and underside signed Cartier, movement and inner case signed European Watch & Clock Company Inc. Dim. 13.5 cm x 7 cm x 15 c m high.
