Cartier - Gold, Diamond & Lapis Egg-Form Clock Cartier, Paris, the movement by Angelus, Swiss. Made in the 1950's. Very fine and rare, 18K yellow gold, diamond and lapis-lazuli set, egg-form desk clock.

Yellow gold, engine-turned with a sunray pattern, applied baguette lapislazuli hour indexes and round white diamond quarter-hour indexes. Rose-cut diamond-set platinum feuille hands. M. 35 mm., rhodium-plated, 15 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, monometallic balance, blued steel flat balance spring, shock absorber, index regulator, folding winder. Case signed Cartier, Paris, movement signed Angelus. Dim. 60 x 52 mm.
