CARTIER CENTER-SECONDS DRESS WATCH FOR A VISCOUNT Cartier, No. 21806, the movement by European Watch & Clock Co., Inc. Made circa 1922. Very fine and rare, 18K yellow gold and enamel keyless dress watch with indirect center seconds.
C. Three-body, ?demi-bassine?, polished, the back cover with Royal blue champlevé enamel monogram of interlaced C?s beneath a Viscount?s coronet. D. Matte silver with radial engine-turning, painted Arabic numerals, outer minute track. Blued steel Breguet hands. M. 16 ½ ???, by European Watch & Clock Co., Inc., rhodium plated, fausses cotes decoration, 20 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance with eight adjustments, blued steel Breguet balance spring, index regulator. Dial signed Cartier, movement signed European Watch & Clock Co., Inc., case numbered. Diam. 51 mm.
