CARTIER, REF. 2356 TORTUE CHRONOGRAPH Cartier, Swiss, Tortue Chronographe, No. 0100 CC, Ref. 2356. Made in 2000s, sold on August 7, 2004. Very fine, tonneau-shaped, water resistant, 18K yellow gold wristwatch with single button chronograph, register and an 18K yellow gold Cartier deployant clasp. Accompanied by a fitted box and certificate, and booklet.

C. Two-body, solid, polished, transparent case back with 8 screws, case band with 4 screws, rounded bezel, octagonal sapphire-set winding-crown, sapphire crystals. D. Guilloché silver with painted radial Roman numerals, subsidiary seconds and 30-minute register dials. Blued steel Breguet hands. M. Cal. 045 MC, with special Cartier decoration, rhodium plated, 22 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, monometallic balance, shock absorber, self-compensating fl at balance spring. Dial, case and movement signed. Dim. 34 x 43 mm. Thickness 10 mm.
