CARTIER 100 FRANCS GOLD COIN WATCH Cartier, No. 16355/355, the movement made by European Watch & Clock Co. Inc. Made circa 1930. Very fine and extremely rare, French 100 Francs gold coin of 1908, fitted with a concealed watch.

Four-body, 100 Franc coin, Republique Française on one side, the reverse with Liberté, Egalite, Fraternité, the inscription repeated around the edge, hinged cover with catch set with a rectangular cabochon black onyx, hinged inner case with polished bezel, back secured with screws in the band, on an engine-turned surround. D. Matte silver with radial black Roman numerals, outer minute track. Blued steel Breguet hands. M. 9???, rhodium plated, fausses cotes decoration, 18 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance with 8 adjustments, fl at blued steel balance spring, index regulator. Dial signed Cartier, movement signed European Watch & Clock Co., Inc., case numbered. Diam. 36 mm.
