Notes

This watch is an extremely rare and highly unusual variant of the famous Cartier shutter or guillotine watch. Instead of the more usual gold shutters covering the dial, the dial itself is bisected to form the shutters, when the button in the crown is depressed the dial opens to reveal a further matching dial with 24-hour numerals
