CARTIER PLATINUM DIAMOND & ONYX Cartier, France, No. 15627 / 17234. Made circa 1920. Extremely fine and elegant platinum, diamond and onyx-set lady?s wristwatch with a platinum and 18K pink gold deployant clasp.

C. Two-body, tonneau-shaped, polished, the bezel set with diamonds, the mustache lugs connected by onyx bands and set with diamonds, case back engraved and secured by four screws in the band. D. Matte silver with painted Arabic numerals, inner minute track. Blued steel spade hands. M. 6 ½???, rhodium-plated, 18 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance, blued steel fl at balance spring, index regulator, 8 adjustments. Dial signed, case and movement signed European Watch & Clock Co. Dim. 15 x 35 mm. Thickness 6 mm.
