CARTIER TANK Cartier, London, ?Tank?, No. 8012/37930. Made by the European Watch & Clock Co., Inc., in the 1960s. Fine and rare, rectangular, 18K yellow gold wristwatch with a yellow gold Cartier deployant clasp.

C. Two-body, solid, polished and brushed, the case back secured by four screws in the band, gold screwed bars, faceted sapphire-set winding-crown. D. Cream painted with black baton indexes and upright Roman numerals. Blued steel epee hands. M. Cal. 122, rhodium-plated, fausses cotes decoration, 18 jewels, straight line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance adjusted to temperatures and 2 positions, blued steel flat balance-spring, index regulator. Dial signed Cartier, London, case and movement signed European Watch & Clock Co., Inc., case and clasp punched EJ in a lozenge for Edmond Jaeger, clasp numbered 12870. French gold marks.
