Extremely fine and rare, black onyx, yellow gold and enamel, keyless pocket watch. Accompanied by the original gold-tooled red morocco Cartier box.

Two-body, single piece of black onyx, polished with flat band and inclined edges, yellow gold pendant and triangular bow, yellow gold bezel decorated with square gold dots on a black champleve enamel ground, secured by four screws. Matte silver with radial Roman numerals, outer minute track. Blued steel cathedrale hands. 17''', rhodium plated, fausses cotes decoration, 19 jewels, straight line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance with 8 adjustments, blued steel Breguet balance spring, index regulator. Dial signed Cartier France, movement signed European Watch & Clock Co. Inc., the bow and reverse of the bezel with Cartier numbers, punched EJ for Edmond Jaeger and with French gold marks.
