CARTIER RONDE - ST. CHRISTOPHER LADY'S WATCH Cartier, "St. Christopher", No. 44306/016160, the movement No. 444917 by the European Watch & Clock Co. Inc. Made circa 1950. Very fine and very rare, 18K yellow gold lady's wristwatch with "St. Christopher" hinged cover over the concealed dial and a Cartier 18K yellow gold deployant clasp. Accompanied by a period Cartier fitted box.

Circular, three-body, polished and brushed , straight lugs, circular hinged cover over the dial with a cast high-relief medallion depicting St. Christopher, flat bezel and band. Matte silver with radial Roman numerals, outer minute track. Blued steel baton hands. Cal. 7''', signed European Watch and Clock Co. Inc., rhodium- plated, fausses cotes decoration, 18 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance adjusted to temperatures and 2 positions, blued steel flat balance spring, index regulator. Dial signed Cartier, movement signed European Watch & Clock Co., Inc., case with Cartier numbers and punched EJ for Edmond Jaeger, French gold marks. Deployant clasp punched EJ.
