CARTIER PENDULETTE DE VOYAGE A REPETITION Cartier, "Pendulette de voyage à repètition minutes," No. 124511, the movement by the European Watch & Clock Co. Inc. Made circa 1920. Fine and rare minute-repeating, leather-covered brass desk clock.
Rectangular brass entirely covered by dark green leather, brass inner bezel, the back sliding open, push piece on the side and triangular bow on the top with securing latch. Matte silver with radial Roman numerals, outer minute track. Blue steel Breguet hands. Brass, circular with going barrel, 15 jewels, straight line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance with 8 adjustments, micrometer regulator, repeating on gongs activated by the push piece at the side.
