Notes

Dial signed, case punch-numbered on the base, movement numbered 17791. DIM. 103 x 76 x 65.5 mm. The present clock is in exceptional condition with near-perfect enamel case, only the tiniest of chips to one white-line border, it also has the extremely rare feature among Cartier clocks of this type of Petite Sonnerie striking. The clock is further enhanced by the survival of the original box which is slightly distressed as one would expect for a box of this age but has nevertheless served to protect the precious contents. This stunning clock presents a rare opportunity for the Cartier connoisseur to acquire a superb piece in original untouched condition.
