GIRARD PERREGAUX RETAILED BY CARTIER CHRONOGRAPH YELLOW GOLD Girard perregaux retailed by Cartier, "Chronograph", case No. 672403. Made in the 1940s. Very fine and rare 14K yellow gold wristwatch with square button chronograph and registered.

Three-body, polished, concave and curved lugs, flat bezel, snap- on back engraved with "W A M B N Y C" Silver, black painted arabic numerals, outer minutes and 1/5th seconds track with Arabic 5-minute/seconds numerals, subsidiary dial for the 30 minute, 12 hours and seconds, register. Blued steel feuille hands. Cal. 285, rhodium-plated, 17 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, monometallic compensation balance, self-compensating Breguet balance-spring, index regulator.
