Cartier, Paris, "Montre Bousolle, Cadran Solaire", entered into register on September 27, 1938.Very fine and very rare, 18K gold, oval keyless dress watch with compass and sundial.
C. three-body, back engraved with sundial, spring-loaded rose gold gnomon in the middle which opens to the inclination set probably for Paris, top with small compass, front with dial aperture. D. matted and silvered, Radial Roman numerals, outer minute track. "Breguet" blued steel hands. M. 22.6 mm, (10''') rhodium-plated, "fausses-côtes" decoration, 18 jewels, straight line lever escapement, cut-bimetallic compensation balance with blued steel flat balance spring.Dial signed, case punched with serial numbers and Edmond Jaeger mark, movement signed by EWC,Dim. 45 x 33 mm.
