Cartier Paris, "Parallélogramme", No. 178/300. Produced in a limited edition of 300 examples in 1996.Very fine and unusual, parallelogram-shaped, asymmetric, 18K yellow gold gentleman's wristwatch with an 18K pink gold Cartier deployant clasp. Accompanied by a fitted box and certificate.
C. two-body, solid, polished, case band with screws. D. guilloché silver "rayons de soleil" with painted Arabic numerals and indexes. "Epée" blued steel hands. M. Cal. 9P2, signed Cartier, rhodium-plated, "fausses côtes" decoration, 18 jewels, straight line lever escapement, monometallic balance adjusted to temperatures and 5 positions, shock-absorber, self-compensating flat balance-spring. Dial, case and movement signed.Dim. 25 x 34 mm.
