Cartier, Paris, ‘Santos Ronde’, No. 0458/1847. Produced in a limited edition of 1847 examples in 1997, to celebrate the 150th anniversary of Cartier. Fine and rare, center-seconds, self-winding, water-resistant, two-time zone, 18K yellow gold and brushed stainless steel gentleman's wristwatch with date and a brushed stainless steel Cartier bracelet with polished gold screws and deployant clasp. Accompanied by a fitted box, certificate and setting-pin.
C. three-body, brushed, steel case back and yellow gold bezel fixed with 8 screws, protected octagonal crown set with ruby cabochon, sapphire crystal. D. "guilloché" silver with painted radial Roman numerals on a plain reserve, subsidiary dial on the 12 for the second time zone in 24 hours, sector on the 6 for the up-and-down indication, aperture on the 3 for the date, secret Cartier signature. Blued steel "Epée" hands. M. Cal. 2671, rhodium-plated, 17 jewels, straight line lever escapement, monometallic balance, shock-absorber, self-compensating flat balance-spring. Dial, case and movement signed. Diam. 36 mm. Approx. overall length: 155 mm.
