Notes

This type of watch was initially destined as a purse watch. A few of them (the 'Bébé Guillotine') have been adapted byCartier into wristwatches for the English Market.Approximately 50 pieces of this kind were modified by Cartier Paris (French hallmark), were sent to Cartier London(import and date English hallmark), and were sold there in the 1930's. We emphasize here that Cartier Paris alsoproduced some under the denomination 'Bracelet-Montre Bébé Guillotine'.
