So-called "Paul Newman" Rolex Cosmograph "Daytona", Ref. 6241. Retailed by Cartier. Produced in the 1960s. Very fine, water-resistant, stainless steel gentleman's wristwatch with round button chronograph, registers, anti-reflection black bezel with tachometer and a stainless steel Oyster bracelet.
C. three-body, polished and brushed, screwed-down case back and crown, tachometer graduation on the bezel to 200 units per hour. D. bicolored black and "guilloché" silver with tritium-coated black indexes, sunk subsidiary dials for the seconds, the 12-hour and 30-minute registers.Tritium-coated steel ?bâton? hands. M.
