Cartier, No. 20177, case No. 12026. Produced in the 1910s. Fine and rare, rectangular, small, 8-day going, silver and enamel travel clock with original leather fitted traveling box.
C. Silver with white enamel inlay around the edges, front, top and sides with "guilloché" translucent light blue enamel, hinged case back. D. Matte silver with applied gold Arabic numerals. Gold "Breguet" hands. M. Rectangular, rhodium plated, engine-turned full bridge, 13 jewels, straight line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance adjusted to 3 positions, Breguet balance-spring.Dial signed "Cartier".Case signed "European Watch & Clock Co, Inc.".Dim. 53 x 36 x 27 mm.
