So-called "Paul Newman" Rolex Cosmograph "Daytona? , Ref. 6241. Produced in the 1970s. Retailed by Cartier. Very fine and rare, water-resistant, stainless steel gentleman's wristwatch with round button chronograph, registers, anti-reflective black bezel with tachometer and a stainless steel Oyster bracelet. Accompanied by a letter from Rolex confirming the watch was sold to Cartier.

Signed Cartier, two-tone matte silver and black with applied black square indexes and tritium-coated dots, subsidiary "guilloche" sunk dials for the seconds, the 12-hour and 30-minute registers, outer red painted 1/5th second scale. Tritium-coated steel "Bâton" hands. M. Cal. 13''', rhodium-plated, 17 jewels, straight line lever escapement, monometallic balance adjusted to 3 positions, shock-absorber, self-compensating Breguet balance-spring.Dial, case and movement signed.Diam. 37 mm.
