Cartier, France, ?Montre or à pattes?, made for the English market, entered in the register on October 1, 1934. Very fine 18K yellow gold, keyless, back-wound gentleman's wristwatch with 18K gold bracelet and Cartier deployment buckle.
C. Two-piece, tank type, polished, faceted back, ?bullet? lugs, punched withLondon import marks for 1934-35.D. Painted in matted white in typical for Cartier manner, radial Roman numerals, inner rectangular minute track. Blued steel ?baton? hands. M. Rectangular,10.4 x 23 mm, engraved ?E. Gübelin?, maillechort, 15 jewels, adjusted to temperature and two positions, 45° lateral counterpoised lever escapement, uncut-bimetallic balance with screws, self-compensating flat balance spring, steel dust cup. Signed on the dial, numbered on the case, buckle signed by Cartier London.Dim. 32x19 mm.
