Leonardo DiCaprio
An international film star at twenty-three, DiCaprio began auditioning at age
fourteen. By his seventeenth year he was sharing the screen with Robert De Niro in
"This Boy's Life" . In offbeat films such as "What's Eating Gilbert Grape " , "The
Basketball Diaries " and "Romeo and Juliet" , DiCaprio's portrayals have propelled him
to megastar status.
DiCaprio has managed to pull off the dream career for a committed Hollywood
actor; avid dramatic exploration coupled with broad-based appeal. Having starred in
"Titanic", the biggest grossing film of all time, DiCaprio continues his long career
search for diverse, challenging roles.
He has worked with many leading directors including Baz Luhrman "Romeo and
Juliet", Sam Raimi "Quick and the Dead", James Cameron "Titanic", Lasse Hallsrom

DiCaprio's co-stars include Gabriel Byrne, Gerard Depardieu, Jeremy Irons, John
Malkovich (The Man in The Iron Mask) as well as Ellen Barkin, Hume Cronyn, Clare
Danes, Johnny Depp, Gene Hackman, Diane Keaton, Juliette Lewis, Sharon Stone,
Meryl Streep, David Thewlis, Mark Wahlberg, and Kate Winslet.
DiCaprio has received numerous awards and nominations, including an Academy
Award nomination for best supporting actor at age nineteen for "What's Eating Gilbert
Grape". DiCaprio is a Los Angeles native.
