Produced in a limited series of 150 examples in 1997 to commemorate the 150th anniversary since Louis-Francois Cartier started his company in 1847. Very fine and unusual, rectangular curved, 18K white gold driver's wristwatch with round bar lugs connected to an unusual 18K white gold deployant clasp at 6 o'clock.
C. Two-body, solid, polished and brushed, bombé, cylindricallugs, back winder, case back engraved "L C 1847 - 1997", "bombé" sapphire crystal. D. Flinqué matte silver with painted radial Roman numerals on a plain outer reserve, secret "Cartier" signature. Blued steel ?épée? steel hands. M. 5 1/2''', signed Jaeger LeCoultre, rhodium-plated, 18 jewels, straight line lever escapement, monometallic balance, shock-absorber, self-compensating flat balance spring. Dial, case, and movement signed. Dim. 19 x 35 mm. Thickness 8 mm.
