Cartier, London, No. 1509/2846, with London hallmarks for 1926. Very fine and unusual 18K gold and enamel, eight clay going spherical table clock with nephrite and gold base, in original red leather fitted box.

C. Square moulded nephrite base, the canted corners supporting four heads of gold and enamel cobras with emerald-set eyes. Gold spherical case, polished with black champleve enamelled decoration. D. Engine-turned frosted silver with Roman numerals. Gold "arrow" hands. M. 19 "' gilt brass, European Watch Co., 15 jewels, straight line lever escapement, cut bimetallic balance, three adjustments, Breguet balance spring, wound by means of the revolving bezel.
