Cartier, Paris, No. 12274, entered in the registers the 29 June 1922, made for the "Yacth Club de France". Very fine 18K gold and enamel, keyless dress watch with chronograph and 30 minutes progressive recorder.
C. Three piece, "Empire carrure plate" , polished, the bezel with white champleve enamelled inscription, the back panel with a stylised champleve enamelled boat on the blue flinque sea and with initials "V.H." and a flag on a cartouche "en reserve". D. Matted silver with Breguet numerals, outer minutes and chronograph ring, subsidiary seconds and minutes register. Blued-steel Breguet hands. M. 17"', European Watch & Clock Co. rhodium plated, "fausses cotes" decoration, 29 jewels, straight line lever escapement, cut bimetallic balance, eight adjustments, Breguet balance spring. Chronograph with visible work, operated with the winding-crown. Signed the dial and movement. Dian'. 50 mm.
