Gilded brass and enamel, key-winding, vertical rectangular-shaped, 8-day going, pre-Art-Deco miniature carriage-clock (so-called “mignonette”), with five-minute-repeater by two hammers on two steel gongs (activated by depressing the quartz push-piece on the top).

Gilded brass cabinet with a décor of Vieux-rose (light-rose) flinqué enamel (translucent enamel over guilloché engine-turning) panels with “sunburst” pattern; yellow gold and enamel bezel; mounted on four faceted quartz feet.

White enamel dial with suspended “Breguet” numerals; yellow gold “Louis XVI” hands.

Movement signed “Nocturne”, 55.4 x 20.8 mm. (including low-plate and false-dial plate), rectangular, gilded-brass, going barrel, platform with straight-line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensated balancewith gold poising screws and blued steel hairspring with terminal curve, polished steel index-regulator; repeater work on the main plate, under the dial.
