The Cartier ref 2487, Tonneau Dual Time, Macau 1999, platinum wristwatch was made in a limited edition of 99 pieces in 1999 to commemorate the Handover of Macau to the People’s Republic of China, also is part of the collection Privee Paris (CPCP). The watch was purchased by an Asian collector in Jan 2000 in Hong Kong.

This excellent example is cased in platinum with two independent mechanical movements and, a silver dial with two time zones decorated in different styles, the applied 9 o’clock hour indexes indicate the uniqueness of the very year of 1999, complete with original box, original certificate, instruction booklet and loupe boxset. Preserved in excellent condition, is a fantastic treasure for Cartier collectors and connoisseurs.
