LE COULTRE RETAILED BY CARTIER REF. 7090 STEEL Le coultre, "Chronograph", case No. 750334, cartier No. 5140, Ref. 7090. Made in the 1940s. Fine, stainless steel wristwatch with square button chronograph and register.
Three-body, polished and brushed, concave lugs, inclined bezel, snap-on case back. Silver with black painted Arabic numerals, subsidiary dials for the seconds and the 60 minute and 12 hours register, outer tachometer scale, concentric 1/5th second/minute track. Blued steel baton hands. Cal.285, rhodium-plated, 17 jewels, straight line lever escapement, monometallic compensation balance, self-compensating Breguet balance spring, index regulator.
