Cartier has produced the mystery clocks for nearly a century. Thanks to the creative Cartier’s design team to transfer this perplexing optical illusion of the mystery clocks onto the Rotonde de Cartier wristwatch to fulfill curious fascinations.
The dual effect is achieved by the cage itself rotating once every 60 seconds, and the glass disc that is mounted on making its own revolution once every five minutes, creating a magical dance between the two. The mechanism is such a visual satisfaction to watch upon wearing it on the wrist.
