An extremely fine and probably unique, 18k gold, manual wind open-face, key-winding pocket watch. Exceptional silvered dial finely engine-turned and richly engraved with floral and rococo motifs. At 9 o’clock, an eccentric subsidiary dial for the hours and minutes with Roman numerals. At 1 o’clock, an eccentric subsidiary dial graduated for 120 minutes (two-hour counter). At 3 o’clock, an eccentric subsidiary dial graduated for 120 seconds. At 6 o’clock, a subsidiary s further features a “Fast/Slow” regulation aperture. Back cover featuring a single gold à tact hand, set in an engine-turned “à grains d’orge” case, with a gold pointer and inlaid blue enamel Roman numerals on the dial. The flat engine-turned band includes 12 hour markers (including the pendant) for the à tact function.
