Very fine and rare painted wood panel, ormolu and chiselled gilded bonze, 2-day going, key-winding, "Chinoiserie" small mantel clock, in the shape of a neo-classical architecture surmounted by a Chinese character smoking his pipe, with hour and half-hour striking on a bell; made for the Chinese market. Silver colour dial with Chinese characters; gilded metal "Chinese" hands.
