Corum "Golden Bridge", Ref. 13231.56. Produced in the 1980's.Very fine 18K yellow gold and sapphire glass gentleman's wristwatch, with visible engraved gold movement, all wheels and pinions in a straight line, with a gold-plated Corum buckle.

This rectilinear movement, called the "Golden Bridge In-Line" movement, was invented by Vincent Calabrese in 1977. The invention was then sold to Corum, who improved and patented it. All the wheels and pinions are arranged in a straight line.
