Corum ?Koban? Japanese Coin Watch Corum, Swiss, No. 175016, case no.341525, made in the 1970's. Fine and rare 18K yellow gold oval-cased pocket watch with Japanese coin dial.

C. Two-body, solid, case back with husk pattern, plain band, serrated bezel, sapphire crystal, inner metal movement support. D. Japanese Koban coin with central square cut-out for gilt plaque with maker's name. Gold dauphine hands. M. Cal. 7001, rhodium-plated with fausses cotes decoration, 21 jewel, straight-line lever escapement, monometallic balance adjusted to 3 positions, self-compensating flat balance spring, shock-protection. Movement, case, and dial signed. Dim. 35.5 mm x 52 mm.
