Notes

The Admiral's Cup was created in 1957 by sir Myles Wyatt, Admiral of the RORC. (ORC - Offshore Rating Council, formerly RORC). This race is considered as the World Championship of the Offshore Racing. Each Nation presents 3 boats for a series of regattas along the coast and off-shore: 6 races consisting in the Channel race (200 miles in the Channel and back to Cowes), two olympic triangles in Christchurch Bay, one coast race along the Solent, the Fastnet and one race of 40 miles in East Solent. In 1989, this race became the "Champagne Mumm Admiral's Cup", won in 1991 by the three Corum yachts in the French Team. Instead of numbers, the watch bears maritime flags on its dial.
