Corum, "Romulus Coliseum", No. X, Ref. 587.09.59. Produced in 1997 in three series of 100 examples each, in yellow, pink and white gold. Sold on January 15, 2003. Extremely fine and rare, self-winding, water-resistant, 18K white gold gentleman's wristwatch with 48-hour autonomy and an 18K white gold Corum buckle. Accompanied by a lacquered wooden fitted box and certificate.
C. two-body, solid, polished, transparent case back with eight screws, fluted band, brushed wide bezel with hand-engraved radial Roman numerals, straight lugs, sapphire crystals. D. in 18K white gold, hand-engraved with a representation of the Roman Coliseum, signature and logo. "Baton" black hands. M. Cal. 70, rhodium-plated, "fausses cotes" decoration, 35 jewels, straight line lever escapement, monometallic balance, shock-absorber, self-compensating flat balance-spring, 18K white gold decentralized rotor hand engraved with the she-wolf, Remus and Romulus and the number. Dial and movement signed. Diam. 35 mm.
