This watch is part of a limited edition of 38 examples, in platinum, made in the 1990's. The dial of this watch is matte of Zagami stony meteorite found on 3 October 1962. - Impact point: 11° 44' N., - 7° 05' E., Katsina Province, Nigeria, on 3 October 1962. - Origin: Planet Mars. - Scientific classification: achondrite - SNC meteorite group. The Zagami meteorite belongs to the very rare sub-group of meteorites called SNC, the rarest of the stony meteorites. The direct impact of a large meteorite on Mars can propel surface material so fast that it escapes the martian gravitational field, can be attracted to the earth's atmosphere and land on its surface.
