CYMA - MEDIEVAL SERENADE Cyma Watch Co., Swiss, No. 119552. Made in the 1960s. Fine and elegant, gilt-brass, 8-day going mantel clock with mother of pearl marquetry dial and alarm.

Square brushed gilt-brass, glazed on both sides, stepped rectangular base. Skeletonized gilt-brass chapter ring with radial Roman numerals, outer engraved scroll border, the center with a finely made mother of pearl, abalone and stained composition marquetry panel depicting a lady playing the harp and a gentleman playing the lute in medieval costume. Pierced and engraved gilt hands. Cal. R8-15, rhodium plated, 15 jewels, straight line lever escapement, monometallic balance, self-compensating flat balance spring, index regulator.
